Living Water Ukulele Strings

Made from 100% clear fluorocarbon

Manufactured from hi-tech fluorocarbon, these strings give a wonderfully vibrant, crystal-clear tone to your ukulele. They are made to exacting standards, with a complex polymer structure that is formulated to give both strength and flexibility, whilst maintaining an excellent resistance to abrasion. In other words, they don't break easily, they vibrate well and last a long time.

They are actually made in England.

Living Water Ukulele Strings are available for all four sizes of ukulele: soprano, concert, tenor and baritone.

Although designed primarily for C6 (soprano, concert and tenor) or G6 tuning (baritone), they could equally well be tuned up a full step to D6 or A6 tuning. The tension will, of course, be a little higher if this is done.

All four sizes are already available for high 4th string (re-entrant) tuning.

There are now Tenor Low G and Concert Low G sets available.

These new sets of tenor and concert strings are for linear tuning, where you have a low 4th string (low G). If you prefer to use these low G strings, make sure that you select the correct item from the drop-down menu below.

The 4th string in these new low G sets is also made entirely from pure fluorocarbon. It is not a wound string. I believe that many players, myself included, do not care for the sound that a wound string produces.

Now a 5 String Tenor set is available to buy from this website.

A number of people have asked me if I can supply fluorocarbon strings for their Ohana TK-35G-5 (or similar). On these instruments there is both a low G (4th) and a high G (5th).

You can now purchase a Linear Baritone set (low D). As with all the other strings I produce, this will have no wound strings. Only fluorocarbon strings are included. please note that the 3rd string of this low D set has a different gauge to the 3rd string of the re-entrant set.

Custom Sets - If you require advice on unusual string combinations or want to put together a non-standard set, please feel free to contact me by email. All custom strings cost £1 per packet more than regular strings of that type. Here are some of the custom sets that have already been ordered:
